From Resistance to Support: (cont)

So, despite the initial pushback, I got the bike. And let me tell you, it changed everything. The freedom, the wind, the open road—it’s not just a mode of transportation; it’s therapy. It’s a way of life. At first, she wasn’t thrilled, but over time, she saw something she hadn’t expected. She saw how much joy it brought me. She saw how it reignited something inside me. And that changed her perspective. Now? She still worries but, she’s okay with it—she’s supportive. She sees how much I love it, how it fuels me, how it makes me appreciate life more. She doesn’t mind when I hit the road with the guys, set up camp in the middle of nowhere, or roll into a rally to soak in the chaos. Some things in life aren’t about playing it safe. They’re about making the most of the time we have. And for me, that includes two wheels, endless backroads, and the kind of freedom you can’t find anywhere else. To those who get it—ride on. And to those who don’t? Well, maybe they just haven’t taken the right ride yet.
